Jeanne (Mrs. B.) Barciszewski has achieved the rank of  Nidan in her 16  years at Focus. Mrs. B  teaches PeeWee,  Youth, Women's and some Mixed  Adult classes at Focus. For  Mrs. B., teaching  Karate is a dream comes true.  She loves  being with the kids and expresses it as : " It's wonderful to  see  them  learn a new basic or Kata; their eyes just light up. " She  also points out that  she has  learned so much through teaching  that it improves her own Karate.  Mrs. B. feels she has been  very blessed to have the opportunity to have so  many friends  from ages 4 and up.
    Mrs. B. is an ASEP certified coach and referee with the  Amateur Athletic  Union's Karate  Program, Mrs. B. has  achieved rankings in AAU State,  Regional and National  Championships in  Kata, Kobudo and  Kumite.
    Mrs. B. has studied computer programming in college and  has been married  to her wonderful  husband, Jim for over 20  years. They are raising 3 girls all of  whom are students at  Focus. In  her  spare time, Mrs. B. enjoys counted  cross-stitch  and various craft.
